Vincenzo Sospiri Racing has confirmed it will return to the GT Winter Series with a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO II at Circuito Estoril.

The Italian team will be competing in the series for the first time since 2023, when they last took part in the Cup 4 category with a Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

This year, however, the team steps up to the GT3 class, with Mattia Michelotto and Ignazio Zanon sharing the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO II.

The duo enjoyed a successful 2025 season, winning the PRO-AM category of the Italian GT Championship with VSR in the GT Cup class, and are expected to be among the favourites heading into round two at Circuito Estoril later this month.
