Twelve manufacturers are set to compete in the 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour, with 32 GT3 machines headlining the event.

Ford and Chevrolet will make their long-awaited debuts with the Mustang GT3, entered by Germany’s Haupt Racing Team, while the Chevrolet Corvette GT3 Z06.R is set to debut with Johor Motor Racing.

Three BMW M4 GT3s are also confirmed, with 2025 winners Team WRT returning to defend their victory. Mercedes-AMG will field a record-breaking 11 cars, marking the brand’s largest entry in the event’s history.

Audi will be represented by four R8 GT3s entered by Melbourne Performance Centre, while Arise GT will field two Ferrari 296 GT3s to take on the Mountain.

McLaren returns to the GT3 class for the first time since 2020 with two 720S GT3s entered across two teams. Debutants Optimum Motorsport will run one car, while Volante Rosso will field the second, also bringing the fan-favourite Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3.

Rounding out the GT3 field is Porsche, which will bring five Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) entries represented by Earl Bamber Motorsport, Herberth Motorsport, High Class Racing, Absolute Racing, and Tsunami RT.

The GT4 class will see a head-to-head battle for class honours between Team NZ’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4 and Method Motorsport’s McLaren Artura GT4.

In the Invitational category, 111 Racing’s V8-powered IRC GT will go up against KTM Vantage Racing’s X-Bow GT2.
