HRT have announced their plans for the upcoming season in a social media post earlier today.

The team confirmed across its social channels that, so far, the German-based squad has six programs in place for 2025. The first to be discussed is a return to the GT World Challenge. HRT has stated it will compete in the Endurance Cup in the 2026 season; however, it remains unclear whether this will also include a return to the Sprint Cup.

Last season, the #64 and #65 cars finished the championship in 18th place overall, with the team’s best result being a sixth-place finish at the Nürburgring.

The team have also confirmed participation in both the ADAC GT Masters and DTM, with Arjun Maini and Fabio Scherer competing in DTM. The best result of the season was Maini’s fifth-place finish at the Red Bull Ring, with the team ultimately finishing ninth in the championship standings. In ADAC GT Masters, Finn Wiebelhaus and Salman Owega clinched the championship, becoming the first-ever champions driving the Ford Mustang GT3.

Additional programs in the team’s home country include the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series and the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The season will begin as early as January, with the team travelling to the Iberian Peninsula to compete in selected rounds of the GT Winter Series.

HRT CEO Ulrich Fritz explained: “We are very much looking forward to the coming season, for which we are already preparing intensively. We are particularly looking forward to the races in the Intercontinental GT Challenge, as we will be competing in some very exciting events there with the Ford Mustang GT3. Preparations for the DTM, the ADAC GT Masters, the GT World Challenge, and our Nordschleife program are also in full swing. The insights we gained last year will help us further improve our performance and build on our strong results. It is sure to be an exciting year.”
