Max Verstappen tested a GT3 car with 2 Seas Motorsport at Circuito do Estoril and is set to switch manufacturers for the 2026 GT World Challenge season.

2 Seas Motorsport ran two Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars, numbered #3 and #333, with both referencing Verstappen’s racing identity. The Dutch driver has also hinted that he may change his car number from his iconic #33 to #3 during the 2025 campaign, indicating a possible shift ahead of his 2026 move.

The test also featured 2022 British GT champion and Mercedes factory driver Jules Gounon, who provided insight into the car. The session followed the Dutchman’s GT racing debut earlier this year at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, where he competed in a Ferrari 296 GT3 alongside Redline Racing graduate Chris Lulham, with the pair claiming an outright victory.
