ArtLine has confirmed that Shota Abkhazava will return to the 2026 GT Winter Series in January.

The reigning 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Pro-AM champion returns to the series after making multiple appearances late last season. He competed at Motorland Aragon and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, and picked up multiple podiums and a class victory throughout his limited campaign.

In 2026, the Kazak driver will be back in his Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo II for the majority of the season. He will miss the round at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. However, the team expects to remain in contention for the Cup 4 title at season’s end.

The 2026 GT Winter Series commences at the Autodromo Internacional Do Algarve on the 15th January 2026.
