GBR Stratton Motorsport has been confirmed as the first official 2026 British GT Championship entry with a two-car effort.
GBR is primarily used in single-seater racing, with the team competing in the GB4 championship since 2023 and also participating in various Formula Ford events. Last season, they finished 6th in the team championship with an all-Canadian lineup: Alex Berg, Mayer Deonarine, and Callum Baxter.
Stratton Motorsport, meanwhile, is a car sales company based in the south east of England. The team specializes in selling Aston Martin, Lotus, Bentley, and Morgan vehicles, underscoring its close ties to these prestigious automotive brands.
The team has not confirmed line-ups for its two Aston Martin Vantage GT4 machines. An announcement will be made in the months leading up to media day.
Team manager Craig Brunton said, “Our team is buzzing with excitement as we leave the intense world of single-seater racing behind to embark on a thrilling new chapter in the GT4 category. The next step for us feels incredibly special as we forge a promising new partnership with Stratton Motorsport. It is a dream come true to be competing with a prestigious and high-performance brand in AMR, and the entire team is motivated to make an immediate impact on the track. We cannot wait to get started.”
