IRacing has announced that they will be adding the brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 992.2 in the 2026 Season 1 update this Tuesday.

The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 992.2 is the latest version of Porsche’s customer race car, built for series such as the Carrera Cup and Supercup. It uses a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six producing about 520 hp and features improved aerodynamics, including new fender vents and a three-piece front lip that’s easier to replace after contact.

While all of this matters in the real world, the sim version adds its own unique features. These include Nürburgring Nordschleife-specific rules such as defined front and rear spring rates, higher minimum ride heights, and a quiet-exhaust configuration. Players will also have the option to enable or disable traction control and ABS.

The 992.2 will replace the 992.1 in all official series and will be a free upgrade for all players who previously purchased the older model.
